This week, we post our first shortreal for Vanity Fair: Teen-Sexting Police. The idea behind the movie, divided into three episodes, was to explore not teen-sexters (boring) but the adults who spend inordinate amounts of blood, sweat and tears monitoring, policing and prosecuting them (creepy). We wanted to turn the story inside out. Of course, people (young and not so young) use electronic devices to get sex. What’s more curious are the people who are so worried about these people. Yes, they’re teenagers. No, they’re not criminals. We produce and even celebrate all forms of crassness, and then we punish young people for availing themselves of that. We’re idiots. We’re against idiots.
